‘We The Wildflowers’ African drumming and dance workshops – November

Ladies of Stroud and surrounds, come and join We The Wildflowers and Djembe Alchemy for an afternoon of fun and vibrant African drumming and dance.  We are inviting you to join us on Sunday 13th October and/or Sunday 10th November from 1:00pm (3:00pm for dance) at the Stroud hall.

We had so much fun at the last drumming workshop, it was such a great, connected and joyous vibe.  This time we will introduce an African dance class to raise it to the next level.  African dance is fun and active and accomodates people with varied mobility and fitness.  It will get the blood pumping, the heart racing, the limbs moving and the spirit soaring.  And best of all it is done to live drumming creating a special vibe and interaction between drummers and dancers.

Please note that we can only accomodate 15 dancers in the Stroud hall.  However, for those that miss out or aren’t up for the dancing, you can hang around and drum for the dancers!  We just ask that you attend the drumming workshop beforehand so you know what to play.

Let’s come together, have some fun and raise the vibration.
