Join our Wednesday Evening Djembe Drumming Classes at Lakelands Community Center

Looking for a way to release mid-week stress and to have some fun? Look no further! Our Djembe drumming classes are the perfect opportunity to let your woes go and join a vibrant community of drum enthusiasts.  Beginners welcome.  Hire drums available.

When:  Wednesday evenings, 6:15pm to 7:45pm, 16 October 2024 to 18 December 2024.

Note:  Excludes Wednesday 6 November, no class this day.

Location:  Lakelands Community Center.  135 Ambleside Cct, Lakelands NSW 2282

Group drumming has been shown to:

• Improve cognitive function and build new neural networks

At the same time you will:

• Learn about West African rhythm and culture

This class is accessable to drummers of all levels including beginners.  Never drummed before?  Although attending a beginner workshop prior is desirable it’s not essential.  We will walk you through the basics and we have great resources to help you come up to speed quickly.
